vBulletin Spam

Spam is a big problem, not only in the email inboxes, but also comments on blogs and in forums. vBulletin is one of the most popular software packages for running a forum and there are many professional spammers that do nothing but spam vBulletin forums. The owners of vBulletin have to use many plugins, modifications and strategies for dealing with vBulletin spam. Unfortunately, those that do this do not see themselves as spammers and see themselves as legitimate internet marketers. They use all sorts of strategies to rationalise their vBulletin spam as legitimate. However, how can it be legitimate if those who own vBulletin are forever deleting the vBulletin spam?
